Did
you know that 75% of women wear the wrong size bra? The mistake many women make
is settling for a bra that's close enough, rather than scoring one that's
perfect. How to know if you've got an ideal size? The most important
consideration is comfort.
First, you
need to find your correct size.
TAKING
YOUR MEASURE
Not only
will a properly fitted bra feel more comfortable, but correct lingerie
underneath your clothes will make them fit and look better.
1. Stand
straight and relax. Don't inhale and expand your rib cage as if you’re
about to blow out candles.
2. Using a
soft tape measure, measure all the way around your body, placing the
tape measure right beneath your breasts. Add five to
that number, rounding it
up as necessary to the next even number.
For example, if you measured 301/2”, add five” (35 1/2) and round up to
36”.
That's your "band size."
3.
Now, while wearing a bra, measure completely around the fullest part of
your bust
without pulling tight. Make sure the tape measure
goes around your entire back.
Record this number. For example: 38.
4. Subtract
this number from your band size (38-36=2).
The result will indicate your appropriate cup size. Use the
guide below:
0=AA
1=A
2=B
3=C
4=D
5=DD
6=DDD
(Our example would wear a size 36B.)
